Maci Wainwright, is a 16 year old singer/songwriter from the great state of Oklahoma. 

Maci was born at Edmond Memorial Hospital on Jan.8.1990, the same day as the King of Rock n’ Roll himself, Elvis Presley. 

From the time Maci could sing her ABC’s she knew she wanted to be a singer. And when she started taking piano lessons when she was in kindergarten she knew music would be a part of her forever. 

Maci later extended her musical ability when she picked up the guitar. She started out her career singing for family get togethers and private parties. 

Then, when she was in the second grade she sang “My Heart Will Go On” from the movie Titanic. Maci received her 1st standing ovation. She was 7. 

When Maci was eleven she auditioned for the Oklahoma Opry and made it on her first attempt. Soon after she started performing there regularly. Which opened the doors for all the exciting things she had in her future. 

She started becoming a “regular” at many venues across the state of Oklahoma. Her hard work was about to pay off. In 2004 Maci was not just being told she was a talent. 

She was proving it. 

Maci took home seven awards that year including the coveted Horizon Award and Entertainer of the Year Award. Maci was only 14. Maci has since carried on her award winning traditions. 

Maci has performed as an opening act for such names as, Lorrie Morgan, Gene Watson, Highway 101, Wade Hayes, Sammy Kershaw, Helen Cornelius, Ty England, Katrina Elam, Joe Diffee, and Jimmy Web. Maci Has also had so many exciting opportunities to perform with various artists over the years. 

In May of 2003 Maci started performing along side Oklahoma’s most prestigious Bluegrass group, the Byron Berline Band. 

In April of 2005 Maci was honored when she was asked to share the stage with Vince Gill and Toby Keith for the 10th Anniversary Oklahoma City Memorial Thank You Concert. 

In June of 2005 Maci got the opportunity to perform the classic song “You’re The Reason God Made Oklahoma” with the legendary David Frizzell. 

In December of 2005 Maci performed at a BMI benefit concert with Sherrie Austin, Lonestar, Nashville Star Erika Jo and other BMI song writers. 

Among all the organizations Maci devotes her time to, she also volunteers for the Transition House, American Diabetes Associations, St Judes Childrens Hospital, The Oklahoma Celebration of Reading Event and The Association to Prevent Blindness. 

In November of 2005 Maci was offered a writing contract with BMI Nashville, in Nashville Tennessee. She signed her name and was off to work. 

Maci’s producer, was so impressed with her work as a singer and songwriter that just one month later in December of 2005, Maci was offered an Artist Development Deal. 

In February of 2006 Maci signed a deal with the law firm Loeb & Loeb, a national law firm with more than 200 attorneys and offices in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Nashville. Among other Loeb & Loeb artists besides Maci are Vince Gill, Kid Rock, Amy Grant, Grateful Dead, Estate of Elvis, Estate of Johnny Cash, The Beastie Boys, Carrie Underwood and many more.

Maci is currently in and out of Nashville, Tennessee singing and writing songs.  

 Maci’s inspiration comes from the strong support of her family and friends. And knowing the God has a plan for her life, whatever it may be. Right now Maci divides herself between Tennessee and Oklahoma, Piano and voice lessons, school and friends, TV appearances and recording studios, hotels and green rooms. 

She says “I’m having the time of my life, I couldn’t ask for more.”
